Delivering on its key core offering – draw inspection services –  Trinity Inspections Services (TIS) was born, accepting its first order on August 16, 2003. Ten former employees, who had previously worked with Brad Meyer, followed him to the new company, rolling up their sleeves and beginning work at their first location, 15303 Dallas Parkway in Dallas, Texas.

In December, 2004, just a year after their inauguration, Trinity was awarded the “Best Places to Work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area” by the Dallas Business Journal.

The leadership team expanded its operations to its current location, 4851 LBJ Freeway, Suite 410 in Dallas. This new space allowed the team to “spread its wings,” occupying nearly 8,000 square feet.

Trinity operated its budget nimbly and efficiently, and by March of 2005, the company became debt free. Additional equipment, furniture and fixtures were paid in cash going forward.

Just two years into its existence, Trinity received its 4,000th order in August, 2005.

2006

Throughout the year, the company added over 20 new clients and completed 10,000 orders in one month. As its reputation for technological ability, risk management, and customer service penetrated the industry, top residential construction lenders requested additional services, and Trinity responded. Trinity Real Estate Solutions, Inc. was formed, and Trinity Inspection Services was renamed as an LLC. Trinity Field Services and Trinity Appraisal Services, LLC also were also established.

Due to numerous circumstances, the Great Recession occurred in mid 2008, leveling the stock market and demolishing housing prices by 32 percent. As Trinity navigated the turbulence, they referred customers to TFS and TAS as a diversification strategy. While construction customer volume declined. Trinity persisted through the economic storm, providing varied customer services and remaining debt free.

2011

As part of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Dallas chapter, Trinity was awarded two Dallas Quill Awards for excellence involving their Internal Team page and a Life-Sized Plastic Block House to be used at trade shows.

Given the clear need for new construction loan administration services as requested by customers, a new Trinity company, Trinity Loan Administration (TLA), was established.

Seeing a need to help the industry, several leadership team members crafted a step-by-step resource which became Trinity's first book, Introduction to Residential Draw Inspections.  Over the years, Trinity has received numerous stories and accolades explaining how the book has helped loan administrators, disbursement analysts, and draw inspectors enhance their skill set.

In November of 2014, Trinity broadcasted an interactive draw inspection live over the internet, a first for the industry. Customers were able to ask questions and communicate with the hosts during the broadcast

2018

Understanding the challenges of the industry and the multiple variables of the process, Trinity wrote and published its second book, Introduction to Residential Construction Lending. The resource was finalized and published in April for distribution to customers, prospects, and media personnel.

Trinity proudly completed its SOC 2 Type I and Type II attestations in January of 2019 and July of 2019 respectively. SOC 2 is an auditing procedure that brings assurance to banks and lender organizations because it requires service providers to securely manage data.

Understanding the market need, Trinity introduced Trinity Commercial Services, a division within its portfolio that delivers construction services for commercial properties.

For more than 40 years, IABC's Gold Quill Awards have recognized and awarded excellence in strategic communication worldwide.
